A sampling of some mural art in some alleys in Bartow seen during a recent bike trip.  There were others but these are all that I photographed.

House/Office - Orlando Florida

215 Central Avenue - Circa 1927.  I'm sure this was originally a home with views of Lake Eola but has been used as office space for some time.

Commercial Building - Winter Haven, Florida

1411-1417 Third Street SW - While not in the best condition, there are some nice elements in this little commercial building.  These pictures are from August of last year.  Since then some renovations have begun on this building.  We'll have to wait and see what the results may be.

Simple, clean lines.

Loving the stacked square blocks.

Nifty little planter (not to mention more stacked square blocks and thin brick.

Loving the thin brick angled support.

Macy's - Upper Arlington, Ohio

3180 Kingsdale Center - Originally a Lazarus department store, Franklin County lists this building as being built in 1970.  I find the entrance to evoke a cathedral feeling which is appropriate I supose as this is a shrine to consumerism.  Love the tile.

Broadwin Condos - Columbus, Ohio

1312 East Broad Street - Circa 1924.  So much potential that might never happen.  I toured this building four or five years ago about the time that renovations were to be commencing.  Even through the layers of decay and filth you could tell that this was once a very beautiful building inside.  Sadly I didn't have my camera that day.  Apparently to this day no units have been completed and a huge lawsuit was brought against the bank financing the project last year.
